Selinsgrove Pickup Information

This year, Village Acres is offering CSA deliveries to the Selinsgrove area!  We're currently making deliveries to two sites: one of our members' homes, in Winfield (4331 County Line Rd - map - directions), and Emma's Food for Life, in downtown Selinsgrove (11 South Market Street).  Both sites will be open every Friday from 3 pm to 7:30 pm, from now until November 18.

If you're picking up at the Peachey's, boxes will either be on the porch (if the weather is nice out) or in the garage (if it's extra hot, or rainy).  A small deposit box will also be in the garage if you need to leave any payments.  If you need to go in there, Wilbur has asked that you use the side door (the regular, person-sized door), not the overhead garage doors.  If you're picking up at Emma's, just ask the staff there.  Boxes at both sites will be individually labelled, so you can just transfer your share to a canvas tote or a shopping bag and be on your way!

If you've ordered any perishable items (chickens, cheese, etc.) they'll be kept in a cooler at the pickup site; make sure not to forget them.  Egg shares will start off in your labelled boxes, but as the season goes on they may be transferred to a cooler as well.

Selinsgrove-area members will generally receive an email Tuesday or Wednesday with a list of extra items available for sale that week.  If you're not a CSA member, but you'd like to receive those emails (if, say, you're interested in buying some berries, or canning tomatoes, a few times a year, and don't mind getting emails about it twice a week), email the farm at villageacres@gmail.com and ask to be put on our mailing list.  Members will also receive a reminder email every Friday morning, including a link to the week's newsletter.  We will try to limit emails to just these two so as to avoid filling your inbox up.

We're still accepting new members for these distributions, and members joining late in the season will be charged a prorated share price to reflect only those distributions they actually receive.  Looking for the signup page?
