Directions

Please Visit! We hope that each member will take many opportunities to visit the farm. We sponsor two festivals at the farm: the Strawberry Festival in June, and the Harvest Festival in October. Harvest FestivalWork parties are scheduled on certain Saturdays during the season. Members are also invited to the farm at other times to volunteer, tour or spend leisure time at the creek. Call ahead to schedule your visit if you would like to work or spend time with the farmers. Stop by any time if you don't need us to facilitate your visit.

Directions to the Farm

Directions to the Farm from points north and west (State College): Take 322 E to the Arch Rock Road exit after Lewistown. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Go a very short distance to the T. Turn left. (You are now on Old 22.) Go for a little more than a mile. Pass the Dollar Daze store on the right and then take the first road left. (We have a small farm sign that says "Village Acres, Next Left" at the edge of the Dollar Daze parking lot.) This road goes up a short, steep hill.  Our farm is the first farm on the left--about 300 yards from the turn.  Look for a white house and red barn (with a "Village Acres" farm sign), go past that entrance to the second entrance, just before the brick house and wooden fence.  Turn left onto the gravel road and head towards the creek.  Look for parking signs.
Note: if you are picking up your share box, please enter the "main entrance."

Directions to the Farm from points east (Harrisburg): To get to the farm, exit Rt. 322 at Mifflintown. Go south on Rt. 35 about one mile. At the first traffic light in Mifflintown, turn right and go 1.5 miles. After you pass Casner's Service Center on the right, take the first road right. Our farm is the first farm on the left--about 300 yards from the turn.  Look for a white house and red barn (with a "Village Acres" farm sign), go past that main entrance to the second entrance, just before the brick house and wooden fence.  Turn left onto the gravel road and head towards the creek.  Look for parking signs.
Note: if you are picking up your share box, please enter the "main entrance."
